Portfolio as a reflection tool!

Portfolios have been used:

• as a means of encouraging reflective learning and assisting professional development both in education and teacher training of all levels

• as application of theory in practice preventing inert knowledge

• for bridging the gap between knowledge and action (transferring the knowledge from the theoretical to the practical side)

• Portfolios seem to be an appropriate tool in teacher training
